Lavender Field Photoshoot at Sirromet Winery

This was not my usual photo session Spot, but when the opportunity came up for a styled Lavender Field Photoshoot at Sirromet Winery, I couldn’t resist! There’s something about that soft morning light, the gentle scent of lavender in the air, and the calm before the day begins that feels almost magical.

We started just after sunrise with a maternity session, a beautiful first-time mum-to-be, glowing in the golden light. The lavender swayed gently around her as she held her growing bump, the world still quiet except for the birds waking up. There was such serenity in that moment: that beautiful mix of anticipation, love, and peace that comes with waiting to meet your baby for the first time.

A little later in the morning, the energy shifted as a mother arrived with her three little girls for a motherhood session. The lavender field transformed into their playground – full of giggles, twirling dresses, and flowers clutched in tiny hands. There were tender moments too, arms wrapped around mum, little kisses on her cheek, and that familiar kind of chaos that comes with children who adore their mother completely.

These two sessions, though different in pace and energy, carried the same thread, a celebration of motherhood in all its forms. From the quiet expectancy of new life to the joyful whirlwind of raising little ones, both were reminders of how fleeting and beautiful these stages are.

It may not be my usual location, but the lavender fields at Sirromet Winery offered the perfect backdrop for stories of love, connection, and the art of slowing down to soak it all in.
